Tony Lee Starnes, 60, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.

He was born November 11, 1958 in Salisbury, NC to the late Henry Starnes and Annie Morgan Starnes. Tony worked for 22 years as a machine operator for Cannon Mills, and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tony was a member of St. Matthews Church.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Starnes; and niece, Sabrina Starnes.

Tony is survived by his girlfriend of 25 years, Kristen Leonard of Salisbury; daughter, Jessica Harris (David) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Miranda Jenkins, Elijah Starnes, and Kayleigh Harris; brother, Bobby Starnes (Renee) of Salisbury; several nieces and nephews; and beloved cat, Monkey.

Per his request, there will be no memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
