On Saturday February 22, 2020, Trina Waynette Bell Sloop, loving wife and mother of three, passed away at the age of 61. Trina was born on August 24, 1958 in Concord, NC to Paul and Linda (King) Bell. On July 3rd, 1995 she married Randy Eugene Sloop and they resided happily in Salisbury, NC. Trina raised three children, Melinda, John and Shana.
Trina loved going to the mountains to see the scenery. She enjoyed going out to eat to spend time with her family and friends. She loved listening to music and dancing, especially clogging. She was known for her sassy spirit, her infectious smile and her bubbly laugh. What she lacked in height she made up for in heart. Her love for her chihuahua fur babies was matched only by the love for her grandchildren. One thing you could count on, is that you’d never leave her house hungry.
Trina is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Linda Bell and nephew David Grapes. She is survived by her husband Randy, three children, Melinda Davis (Jackie), John Stokes (Emily), Shana Stokes (Josh Sigman) and “other daughter” Erica Vermiglio (Victor). In addition to her children, she is survived by sisters Tammy Howell (Dale) and Teresa Shue (Keith) and brother Vernon Keith Bell. She has six grandchildren, McKayla, Janelle, Paula, John, Hayden and Callie that were her world. She has four nieces, and three nephews that she loved deeply. She was loved by many and had countless friends. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at Camp Manna Ministries, 243 Gibson Way Mocksville, NC 27028 on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Camp Manna Ministries at the above address.
Carolina Cremation is honored to serve the Sloop family. Online condolences may be made at www.carolinacremation.com.
