Mrs. Iva Larue Hadaway Rucker, 73 of Salisbury passed away on April 2, 2020 at The Laurels of Salisbury. She was born January 22, 1947 in Houston, Texas to the late Reuben Assbury Hadaway and Ada Iris Adams Hadaway.

She was a 1965 graduate of Aldine High School in Houston, Texas. She was a retired cab driver for Safety Taxi in Salisbury and was a member of Heavenly Life Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford (Orin) Rucker, son, Robert Lee Honeycutt, II, daughter Rita Honeycutt, and grandchildren, Robert Joseph Honeycutt, Zachery Lee Honeycutt, Tayler James Honeycutt and Robbie Eugene Ashby, II and great granddaughter Emma Grace Honeycutt.

She is also survived by her brothers Ray Allen Hadaway, Roy Avon Hadaway and sister Hilda Novielle.

Due to the mandate from Governor Cooper as of March 14, 2020 there will not be any public services.
