Lillian “Dian” Burleson Deal, 71, of Salisbury, passed away on February 7, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
She was born April 9, 1949 in Stanly County, NC to the late Raymond Burleson and Vergie Earnhardt Burleson. Dian worked as a design engineer and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rockwell. In her spare time, she enjoyed supporting Meals on Wheels, reading and watching plays.
In addition to her parents, Dian was preceded in death by two brothers.
Dian is survived by sons, Walter Stiller, Jr. (Marcie) of Concord; John Stiller of Lexington; Jerry Stiller of Rockwell; and Moses Deal of Salisbury; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-granddaughters, with 1 great-grandson on the way; brother, John Burleson of Greensboro; and sister, Barbara Bailey of Fuquay-Varina.
There will be a private Celebration of Life held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Rowan County, 1307 Salisbury Ave. Spencer, NC 28159.

I am so sorry that Hot Red is no longer here, she was a very dear long time friend who will be missed so very much. She was a good Christian lady who loved her Lord & is now walking the streets of gold! My deepest sympathies to her family who loved her.

Oh my…. I loved Dian… I’m a Designer and I worked with Dian for years and I fell in love with her smile. I just saw this and I send condolences to her family who she loved. The Fluor days…. Never forgotten. 💔
