David Harold Darby, 56, of Gold Hill, went to join the Lord on February 6, 2021.

He was born October 22,1964. He is the son of the late Leonard Miles Darby III and step-son of the late Daniel Harold Cross.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Ramsing Cross, and his son, Joshua Robert Darby and wife, Holly Moose Darby, and his adoring grandchildren, Noah, Caroline, Griffin, and Clara Darby. He is also survived by his four sisters: Deborah Pringle Darby, Rebecca Mary Darby, Jennifer Darby Blume, and Danielle Porter Cross.

He was the constant source of entertainment for many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles! David will be missed by by his entire loving family. David always had a smile as he worked diligently creating fair food delights including elephant ears and snow cones. His relationship with the Lord was multi-congregational as he shared the loving Holy Spirit with all those around him.

An intimate service will be held at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Salisbury, at 5 pm, Thursday, February 11, officiated by Pastor Sean Barrett.
