Ronnie Eugene Bradley went to his heavenly home February 11, 2021. He passed away at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
He was born May 6, 1944 in Augusta, GA to the late William D. Bradley and Evelyn Christine Ogletree Bradley. He worked for HBD Industrial for 42 years, where he was never late. He has dozens of plaques for perfect attendance. He loved music, beach and old golden back in the 60s and 70s. He also loved to work cross word puzzles. He loved Buddy Holley, he even had black rim “Buddy” glasses. He also loved Jerry Lewis, Big Popper and many more.
He also got to meet Wilbur Harris, that was a thrill for him.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his step father, Robert Hamilton; brother, William D. Bradley Jr.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 50 years, whom he dearly loved, Jean D. Bradley; brothers, Allen Bradley (Sandra) of Salisbury; Kenney Bradley (Elaine) of Rockwell; and Walter Bradley (Jeanette) of Georgia; sister in law, Paula Bradley; 2 furry friends, Joe and Big Boy; 3 close friends, Chip, Monica, and J.P.; his baseball friends, who he traveled to Yankee’s stadium with, Gary Lankford and Bill Nance; and dear friend, Mary Avcock Owens.
A gathering will be held at Rowan Memorial Park on Friday, February 19, 2021 beginning at 11:30am.
