My thoughts and prayers go out to Kurts family. It’s not easy losing a son, father, grandfather or brother. There are no words that can ease the pain, all you can do is remember the great times each of you had with him. I haven’t seen Kurt since the passing of his father, although Kurt and I weren’t as close as family should of been I will always cherish the times we had. RIP cousin

My wife and I would like to convey our deepest sympathies at this most difficult time. We have lost a son, a brother, a relative, a husband, a father and a friend. Few are able to prepare for such a lose. Especially when it comes so suddenly.
We hope you will find solace in knowing because of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we will see Kurtis again. I’m certain it will be a glorious reunion for us all.
With love,
Kelly and April Salinas

It was a very sad call to receive last Sunday morning. My heart breaks for my Aunt Mary, my cousins, Terry, Nanette, Kurtis’s son Walter (Jennifer) and his daughter Tricia, and their kids, Millie and all of the rest of his family and his friends. My memories of us growing up and the Chico family holidays are some of my best memories, which I will always treasure. My brother Kelly said it beautifully (above) he is with our Savior and we will see him again. ???????????????? Love, Jennifer (Salinas) Keith

Thank you Hawk for being my friend. I genuinely appreciated your friendship and kindness. You were so tough and funny. Your laugh and smile would brighten my day. You had the wildest stories and you were always nice to Shane and I. I will always cherish the fun times we had taking Toby and Shane to the swimming hole and cooking dinner at your house. I always admired how you did things your way and you weren’t afraid of anything. Thank you for being in our lives.
