Thomas Nathinal Heustess Sr., 74, of Mocksville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

He was born November 6, 1946 in Florence, SC to the late Johnny Heustess and Geneva Polson Heustess. Thomas was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved working on his lawnmowers and loved his family.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Thomas N. Heustess Jr.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Melissa Whittington Heustess; daughters, Amy Heustess Sipes and Cheryl Heustess Campbell (Rex); stepchildren, Mary Smith McClain (Benny), Sarah Nichol Smith (Tommy), and Hut Smith; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

The family will gather at the home of Mary McClain on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 1-4pm.
