Annie Lanier Bond Kepley, 83, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.
Born in Elberton, Georgia on June 30, 1938 to the late Nettie Porterfield Bond and Teasley Oliver Bond. Annie attended Elbert County Schools and graduated from Elberton High School. She retired from the advertising department of Food Lion. Annie attended Wittenburg Lutheran Church and was a member of the L.C.W and the choir. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She loved her cat, Sally, working in her flower garden and shopping.
In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ronald Joe Kepley; sister, Nadine Bond Young; brothers, Oliver Bond and Curtis Bond.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Lisa Kluttz and husband, Tim, of Salisbury, NC; son, Chris Kepley and wife, Kelly of Big Canoe, GA; sisters, Mary Bond Hutto of Candor, NC; Patricia Bond Kellum of Elberton, GA; brother, Terry Bond of Salisbury, NC; sister-in-law, Jane Kepley Powell of Salisbury, NC; grandchildren, Alex and Dylan O’Brien of Salisbury, NC; Zachary Kepley and wife, JinJin of Changhua City, Taiwan; Hannah and Andy Kepley of Atlanta, GA; and loving caregivers, Linda and Teresa Love, Wanda Wagner, Brenda Ashburn, Delores Davis and Mary Lee Ketchie.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 3:00 pm, at Wittenburg Lutheran Church, with Deacon GeoRene Jones officiating. Due to Covid-19, attendance is limited to family and invited guests.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wittenburg Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 345, Granite Quarry, NC 28072.
The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the healthcare providers of Novant Health, Atrium HealthCare Systems, Bayada Home Health and Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House for the loving care given to Annie.
