Mary Ann Cline, 79, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.
She was born December 29, 1941 in Salisbury, NC to the late John and Evelyn Hand Powlas. She was a graduate of Boyden High School, and retired from the VA Medical Center in Salisbury. Mrs. Cline loved to paint, cook, and enjoyed eating lunch with her friends. Mary loved her dogs Bella and Gracie, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Salisbury.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, love of her life for 44 years, William Cline.
Mrs. Cline is survived by her children, Dean Cline (Carlan), David Cline (Lisa), and two grandchildren, Jessica Cline, and Zachary Cline.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at Rowan Memorial Park Mausoleum in Salisbury, with Rev. Brian Farmer, officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Rowan County Animal Shelter, 1465 Julian Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146.
