Fannie Migliaccio, of Albemarle, NC died on April 28, 2022. Fannie was born on January 26,1956 in Dorchester County, South Carolina to Benjamin and Alice Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Migliaccio Jr.; sisters, Aleene Kann, Bennie Blanchard, Wanda McRoy; Stepson Thomas Migliaccio III and family; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Fannie and Thomas Migliaccio were married on October 8,1983 in New London, Connecticut and enjoyed 39 years of marriage.
Fannie was a devoted teacher in the Connecticut State School System and taught at Norwich Technical High School for most of her 20-year career as an educator. She loved her job, her school, and her coworkers and told fond memories of teaching her students until the end. Fannie’s greatest joys were being with family, nature, the family Chow Chow’s, listening to music, dancing, and writing poetry. Fannie was a positive, fun-loving, carefree, and kindhearted person with strong faith. Fannie will live in our hearts forever and we will all cherish her memory and the time we had with her. She was a selfless loving partner.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Cottage at Spring Arbor for the love and amazing care they provided to Fannie during her stay.
The family asks for their privacy at this time; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
