Evelyn Jane Wyles Cvechko, 86, of Spencer, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at her home.

She was born March 2, 1936 in Union County, NC to the late Robert Wyles and Emma Crump Wyles. Evelyn was a homemaker and spent most of her time being “G” helping to raise her grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, cooking, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family. She attended Maupin Avenue Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death first husband, Dallas J. Ranson Sr.; second husband, Paul F. Cvechko; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Evelyn is survived by son, Dallas Ranson Jr. (Angie) of Spencer, NC; daughter, Ellen Stamper of Spencer, NC; brother, Eddie Wyles (Sheila) of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren, Mary Ellen Kirkpatrick (Troy), Jason Stamper (Jeanette), Michael Ranson, and Abbie Ranson; great-grandchildren, Brie Kirkpatrick (Sarah), Emily Stamper, and Logan Stamper; great-great grandchildren, Leah and Levi Kirkpatrick.

There will be a graveside service held at a later date.
