Timothy “Calvin” Self Sr., 58, of Kannapolis, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at his home.
He was born November 6, 1963 in Monroe, NC to the late Oscar Self and Ruby Joplin Self. Calvin worked as a warehouse and delivery manager for What-a-Burger warehouse in Concord for over 18 years. He enjoyed collecting unique items and he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Calvin was preceded in death by his niece, Amie Self.
Calvin is survived by children, Christina Sinclair of Kannapolis, NC and Timothy Self, Jr. (Christine) of Kannapolis, NC; grandchildren, Kayle, Khloe, Skylar, Noah, and Aiden; sister, Linda Self; brother, Randy Self; nephews, Jesse Self and Dwayne Self; and mother of his children, Kathleen Self of Salisbury, NC.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help cover funeral expenses.
