Michael Owen Karriker, 72, of China Grove, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at his home.

Michael worked with the prison system in Salisbury and later a canine officer in Alaska. He enjoyed motor cycle riding, fishing and playing cards – Canasta. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, T.B. Karriker and mother, Naomi Bentley Karriker.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Krystal Crum (Jim); son, Mikey Karriker (Pam); grandchildren, Luke and Mark Crum; and Mikey, Isabel, Madison and Gracie Karriker; brother, Dave Karriker (Debbie); sister, Sarah Lewis; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by special friends, Ken and Sandra Stamey, Raymond Condry, Danny Murph, and Bill Lipe.

He requested no funeral or memorial service. The family will have a private service at a later date.
