Scotty Dale Foster, 47, of Charlotte, left Earth on Friday, November 18, 2022. He was born on September 29, 1975 in Charlotte, NC to the late Gary Foster.
Many of Scotty’s childhood years were spent in foster homes, and it was along this path that he chose to be baptized into Christ. For many years, he worked in the restaurant industry and loved it!
Scotty was a person who was always aiming to make your day better. A man with a big heart, he was kind, thoughtful and always ready to help someone. Throughout his all-too-brief life, Scotty faced many life-challenging health issues. He faced each challenge with faith, encouraging others along the way, until his walk here was over.
Scotty is survived by his wife, Christina Howard Foster of Charlotte, and his beloved children Caleb Foster, Chris Jarrett and Brittany Liles. He also loved his dog River, Sir Purr and the Carolina Panthers.
Scotty was a member of the Providence Road church of Christ and served as a video technician whenever he was able.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life, which will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 2:00pm at the Providence Road church of Christ (4900 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28226)
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Benevolence at Providence Road church of Christ, Charlotte Humane Society or CMPD Animal Shelter.
Carolina Cremation of Charlotte is assisting the Foster family. Online condolences may be made at www.carolinacremation.com.
