Cleila Beatrice Sizemore Spratt, 63, of Kannapolis, NC (formerly of China Grove, NC) passed away on February 15, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 31, 1959, to Rev. Sherman and Ruby (Roberts) Sizemore, and was raised in Herndon Heights, WV.
Cleila fought hard during her battle with cancer and her faith in God is what kept her strong. She loved her family and friends and was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She took great pleasure in crocheting, especially if it was something special she was making for a loved one, and she loved to cook when she was able.
She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as a brother, James (Jimmy) Sizemore. She is survived by her husband, Randy Spratt of Kannapolis; children Tara (Matthew) King, of St. Pauls, NC, and Allyson (Randall) Coleman of China Grove, NC; grandchildren Claire and Ruby King, and Wyatt, Luke, and Olivia Coleman; sisters Lenoka Graham of Beckley, WV, and Sheila (Clarence) Dickens of Daniels, WV; brother Kevin (Tena) Sizemore of Morganton, NC; as well as many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at South China Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Visitation with family will be at 2pm with a memorial service to follow at 3pm with Pastor Curtis Parker conducting the service.
The family would like to thank Dr. Lavanya Desai, Dr. Laura Musselwhite, and Dr. Brigitte Miller for the care and support they provided as well as the staff of the Levine Cancer Institute Infusion Center in Concord, NC, for the wonderful care they gave Cleila during her treatments. The family would also like to thank the staff at Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region for the care and support given, especially from the nurses and CNAs during the last few months.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Cleila’s name to Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region (hpccr.org).

My heart hurts knowing she is gone. But it also rejoices with Cleila who has received her new heavenly body that God gave her when she went home to be with Him and Jesus. Never to know sickness again!! She was my cousin but most of all she was a child of God through and through and she let everyone she knew know it, cause she shared him to all who would listen. Prayers for all the family..
