Wayne Zachary “Zach” Holshouser III, 38, of Salisbury, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023.

He was born October 27, 1984 in Salisbury, NC to Wayne Holshouser Jr. and the late Melanie Laws Knox. He attended school at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. Zach worked in construction and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Zach is survived by his father, Wayne “Zach” Holshouser Jr. (Patsy) of Edenton, NC; step father, Randy Knox of Salisbury, NC; 2 brothers, Joe Knox (Amanda) of Port St Lucie, FL and Jason Starnes (Kelley) of Virginia Beach, VA; girlfriend, Akira Plough of Cleveland, NC; son, Kendrick Zachary Holshouser and daughter, Arya Corley both of Cleveland; aunts, Patti Blue, Judy Brown (Roger) and Becky Yost (Steve), all of Salisbury.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
