Joanna Clauss says
Dear Dan and Laura, Cynthia and Rob, and grandkids,
The Clauss family was so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was the last of the Aqua Angels and one of our dearest friends. He and Jed (our husband and dad) met when they were 7 years old. We all spent so many happy hours with him, your mom and later with Trudy. We will never watch (or light) fireworks without thinking of Birdlegs.
Much love,
Joanna, Jason, Josh and Sara

I am sorry to hear of Edwards’s passing. My father, Charles Hausbeck, often spoke of all the fun and good times he shared with his cousins growing up, and the family events in Queens Village. I remember his father, Frank and how he would invite us out to Montauk to go fishing. My thoughts and condolences to you all.

To the family of Ed Hausbeck
As a group of volunteer musicians who regularly visit The Laurels, we got to know and love Ed. He would play the piano for us and with us and delight the other residents with his skills and sense of humor. We will miss him and always remember him fondly as we continue on.
