Rodney Dean Cline, 68, of Gold Hill, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in  Salisbury.  He was born on February 10, 1955 in Rowan County to the late Elmer Cline and Joan Morgan Cline.

Rodney worked as a Charter Captain in the Fishing Industry and was the owner and mechanic of Gold Hill Watercraft. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and Nascar. Rodney was a proud father and grandfather who loved his kids and grandkids dearly.

In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by his daughter, Codie Cline.

Rodney is survived by his son, Matt Garriet Cline and wife Megan of Salisbury; and grandchildren, Devin and Caylea Cline, Kane Leazer and Avery Cline.

A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church (2570 St. Peter’s Church Rd. Salisbury, NC) on Thursday September 28, 2023 at 6pm.

In leu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
