Dustin Wayne Leonard, 29, of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem.

He was born on May 20, 1994 in Lexington to Shane Bowens and Deborah Leonard.

Dustin was the light of the room and always made people laugh, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, friends and playing video games.

Dustin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nancy and Jerry Leonard, and Alfred and Evelyn Bowens.

Dustin is survived by his wife, Kayla Leonard; his children, Avery Leonard and soon to be son; his parents, Deborah Leonard and Shane Bowens (Michelle); his Brothers, Jonathan Martin (Stephanie) , Sawyer Bowens (Julie), Jakob Bowens (Charla), and Christian Bowens (Haley); his sister, Krysten Knapp; his cousin that’s like a sister, Brianna Velasquez (Josh); 4 nephews, 3 nieces; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members who loved him dearly.

Greatly loved, Deeply Missed, Forever in our hearts.
