Cathy Elaine Taylor, 68, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston Salem, NC.
She was born June 20, 1955 in Salisbury, NC to Emma Jean Sifford Taylor and the late Lewis Taylor. Cathy was a 1973 graduate of East Rowan High School and a graduate of Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was a member of Shiloh Reformed Church. Cathy enjoyed crafting, cooking and playing in the dirt, and she especially loved spending time with her granddaughters.
Cathy is survived by her son, Clay Charles Boger and wife Sarah of Salisbury; three granddaughters, Olivia Boger, Emma Boger and Izzy Boger; brother, Richard Taylor and wife Julie; niece, Judith; and Randy Boger.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 2:00 – 2:45 pm in the Fireplace Lobby at Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith, Faith, NC, with Rev. Richard Myers, officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY 10573.

I am so sorry for your loss. Cathy was such a good friend from the time we met at RCCC. I will miss our long talks and supper meet up’s at her house. We were all blessed to have her in our lives. Sweet memories will stay with us all.

Please know that all the family is in my prayers. Cathy was a dear friend that I met at RCCC in 1973. There are so many memories I can hold on to now. Our group had a special bond and she will be missed. Love to her family.
