Emerelt Reid, 49, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at her residence.
She was born August 23, 1974 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John Brooks and Emerelt Barton Brewer and attended East Rowan High School. Emerelt loved to watch TV, playing games and taking care of her dog Mylie, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Emerelt is survived by her daughter, Amber Breedlove and husband Bill of Salisbury; two sons, Dillon Brewer and wife Kelsey of Rockwell, Josh Brewer and wife Taylor of Salisbury; grandchildren, Haisley Hawks, Alora Burleson, Emmaleigh Brewer, Kyleigh Brewer, Thomas Koontz, Tanner Breedlove and Aubrey Breedlove; two brothers, Robbie Brewer and Jonathan Brooks.
A private memorial service will be held by the family.
