Craig Alan Hempfling, 65, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. He was born on July 8, 1958, in Cincinnati, OH to the late William (David) Hempfling and Pauline Nevins Hempfling.
Craig attended Sandy Springs High School in Atlanta, Georgia where he played football and wrestling. Craig worked with Toll Brothers Construction for several years until becoming self-employed. He enjoyed sports and playing practical jokes on everyone. Craig has an extremely generous nature and would go out of his way to help anyone in need.
In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by brothers William Stephan Hempfling and Jeffrey Alan Hempfling.
Craig is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Charlotte), son, David (Wilmington) and the joy of his life, grandson Grayson. He is also survived by his sister, Pamela Hempfling Crenshaw of Gastonia, NC brother, Ralph David Hempfling of Columbus, Ohio along with numerous nieces and nephews.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
