Paula “Katy” Carlisle Johnson, 73, of Granite Quarry, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Novant Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC.

She was born July 19, 1950 in Indiana to the late Paul and Elizabeth Tyson Carlisle. Paula was a graduate of East Rowan High School for 1968, she worked as a Forklift Operator for Supply One in Rockwell for over 17 years. Paula was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by sisters, Donna Misenheimer and Lynn Starnes; granddaughter, Emily M. Honeycutt.

Paula is survived by her husband, Terry Lynn Johnson, whom she married May 7, 1994; daughters, Jamie Euart Honeycutt and husband Kevin of Salisbury and Alesia Euart of Asheville; grandsons, Connor Honeycutt, Jonathan Euart, Christopher Euart and Matthew Hardman; great-grandchildren, Emily, Jason, Anthony, Noah and Carson; brothers, Bobby (Susan ) Carlisle and Mike (Glenda) Carlisle; sister-in-law, Mary (Glenn) Dunaway; niece, Marsha Rinehart; and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Canaan Baptist Church at a later date.
