Catherine Estelle Dublin, 33, of Harrisburg, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Tucker Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 24, 1990 in Alabama to Eric and Karry Mitchell Mester.

Catherine, a graduate of the University of South Florida, worked as a Financial Accountant for Children International, a non-profit humanitarian organization focused on ending generational poverty. Catherine was extremely passionate about helping others and dedicated much of her career and spare time to causes related to that mission. Outside of work, Catherine was an incredibly devoted and loving mother and wife who will be greatly missed by her family.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Catherine. She loved a quiet evening with her husband or friends and a glass of wine in hand. Catherine enjoyed exploring new destinations with her family and found beauty in the simplest things. She was an excellent writer and thoughtful gift-giver. She had an uncanny ability to make those around her feel loved and empowered. Her amazing personality and sense of humor were contagious to everyone she interacted with. Catherine is survived by her mother and father, Karry and Eric Mester; her maternal grandparents, Charlie and Helen Mitchell; her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Jackie Taylor; her husband of 8 years, Walter Adam Dublin; her sons, Christopher, Oliver, and DeAngelo; her sister, Elizabeth; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12pm CST on September 28th, 2024 at First Free Will Baptist Church, 256 Whitson Road, Talladega, Alabama 35160. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Education and Research Foundation on her behalf.
