Robert Taylor Williams, aged 86, of Salisbury, went to be with his Lord July 24, 2024, in Salisbury NC. Born on December 29, 1937. Rob, dedicated three years of service to the Army.

Rob was deeply committed to his faith, reading his Bible daily, which was a source of great comfort and guidance throughout his life.

Rob is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Lou Williams; his son, Robert T. Williams Jr. and wife Laura; and his daughter, Carrie Erickson and husband Ric; and brother, Tom Williams. His legacy continues through. his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarine Wooten Williams and Carver Vann Williams, and his brother Carver.

A memorial service will be held in his honor on October 9, at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
