David Wayne Moore of Concord, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2024 after declining health for several years. He was 75 years old.

David attended Northwest Cabarrus High School and Rowan Community College. He spent many years as a car mechanic before retiring. David was an avid pilot, gaming his commercial pilot’s license for small aircraft.

David was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Hampton; his mother and father, Nathyalee and Clyde Moore; and a brother, Terry Michael Moore.

David is survived by his sisters, Betty M. Fisher (Karl) and Dena M. Taylor. He had four nephews, Aaron Fisher (Stephanie), Patrick Fisher (Aubrey), Nathan Taylor (Amy) and Shawn Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at the Kannapolis Kingdom Hall on Saturday, October 26th at 3:00 p.m. located at 811 Delane Street, Kannapolis, North Carolina.
