Joneal Maske Ferree, 98, passed away on Monday November 11th, 2024 at Wexford Hose Assistant Living Denver, N.C.  Joneal was born in Monroe, N.C. to her parents Ona and Roland Maske.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Douglas and Frank Maske and two sisters Margaret Pinkerton and Willie Blake Tarlton.

Joneal worked at Burand’s in Morganton N.C. for 35 years.  She was  the matriarch of the family and leaves behind her children : Harry L. Ferree Jr (Patti), Sharon F. Harben (Jerry) and Debra F. Peterson (Tom).  She was affectional known as Granny and Granny Jo by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Grandchildren  Ben Kincaid, Ryan Causby, Joe Ferree, Elliot Ferree, Stacia P. Nuegent and Alicia Beckley.  Step grandchildren Lisa Harben, Michelle Peterson, Stefani Ireland, Lauren Childers and Shannon Blackmon . Great grandchildren Brantley and Brody Neugent, Joey, Jaylin and Jillian Ferree. Step great grandchildren Danielle and Samantha Blackmon and Declan Childers, Emily, Lizzy and Jackson Ireland.  And a number of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held December 7th 2024 at the Grover Community House, Grover N.C.
