June Anne Puorro Guzzetti, 71, of Gold Hill, peacefully passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 with her children by her side at her home in Gold Hill, NC.

She was born June 16, 1953 in Winthrop, MA to the late Joseph Puorro and Concetta DiGiacomandrea Mele. June was a 1972 graduate of Melrose High School, she was a licensed Hairdresser before becoming a Homemaker. June loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time with all her animals. She loved cooking for her family and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Michael Guzzetti; and brother, Salvatore “Gino” Mele.

June is survived by her daughter, Jill Marie Guzzetti of Richlands, NC; son, Michael Paul Guzzetti of Gold Hill, NC; sister, Anne-Marie Browne and husband Tim; and is survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
