Bob was born March 27th, 1949 to the late Sammy & Roberta Lucas of Lexington, Ky. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan & loved his Ky roots. Bob enjoyed sports, traveling & grilling.

Bob & Jill were married in 2011. At which time his family grew with step children & grandchildren. He never put the word “step” in front of those words. He loved them all as if they were his blood. And they loved him equally as much.

Bob is survived by wife, Jill; niece, Amanda Singleton(Ky); step daughter, Katie(Jeremy); grands, Kayla, Morgan, Adrienne(SC), Davis, Stephanie(Tyler); grands, Braylin & Sawyer(NC), Burgess; mother & father in law, Jewell & Jim Moss(NC); brother in law, Nick Moss & family(NC); sister in law, Carrie Moss Greene(Steve); & family(NC); numerous, nieces & nephews.

Bob was a great friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for those he loved.

Bob loved his fur babies tremendously- George, Sheldon, Jake, Duke, Chloe & Mariska.

Bob was a man of God. In knowing that we know he is Heaven with a completely healed body where we will be reunited with him one glorious day. We love you!

Private celebration of life will be held at his home in Salisbury, NC, Sunday, February 16th, 2025.
