Mary E. (Baker) Stout, 95, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025 after being transported from her Oak Park Retirement residence to the Glen A Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, NC. Born in Attleboro, MA on April 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Edith Baker, Mary was a 1946 graduate of North Attleboro High School where she was a cheerleader. Mary would continue to spread cheer and be a leader for the remainder of her long life. If a song of her life was composed, the title would have been ” Everyone Loves Mary”. Her enthusiasm and outgoingness was contagious and anyone meeting her would receive a big hug followed by her words “I’m a hugger”. She never met a stranger!
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Beth Krzaczek and her husband Bill of Spring Hill, FL; Susan Williams and her husband Mike of Salisbury, NC and Carol Monast of No. Attleboro, MA. She was the loving “Nana” to her grandchildren Catelin Kenney and her husband Aaron of Attleboro, MA; Cody Stewart of Cumberland, RI; Briana Stewart of Loudon, NH, Alye Gobin of Austin, TX and Trevor Lattimer of Murfreesboro, TN. She was the beloved “GIGI” to her great grandchildren Adrienne Kennedy and Caden Larkin of Attleboro, MA. Julie Cambridge Theroux and her daughters Emma and Brennah Theroux, together with Julie’s granddaughter Lily Theroux of S. Attleboro, MA. spoiled their “Auntie” with frequent visits and expressions of love. Mary will also be remembered by Julie’s husband, Donald and her two sons Donald III and Christian Theroux as well as her caring niece Jill Cambridge Harris, her husband Howard and Jill’s son Howie.
Mary was predeceased by her dearly loved sister Laura Baker Cambridge (2019), her former husband Albert Monast (1994) and Mary’s beloved and cherished husband David Stout Sr (2021).
Per Mary’s request, there will be no funeral services and her ashes will be combined with the ashes of her deceased husband Dave together with the ashes of their beloved fur babies, “Max” and “Mindy” and scattered per her wishes.
“He will remove all our cries and pains, from there shall be no more sorrows, as long as we have memories, yesterday remains.”
