Glenn “Squeaky” Blalock, 69, of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.

He was born October 19, 1955 in Albemarle, NC to U.B Blalock and Nancy Pennington Blalock. Squeaky worked in trucking throughout his life working with his father-in-law in his younger years. He also worked at Isenhour/Boral Brick, FoodLion, TCI trucking and DLB trucking.

Words to describe Squeaky include family man, hardworking, loud, and stubborn. He never met a stranger, and was loved by many. He even ran into someone he knew on a Disney cruise.

In his spare time he enjoyed, taking care of his farm, cutting wood, going to the YMCA and doing his water workout class. After the passing of his wife, Teri, in March 2024, Squeaky began painting.

In addition to his parents, Squeaky was preceded in death by wife, Teri Blalock; Henry Blalock; Willow Honeycutt and Mary Williams (Gladys).

Squeaky is survived by Olivia Blalock; James Blalock; Angie Blalock; JJ Blalock; Natalie Blalock; Meadow Blalock; Teresa Bulla; and Jeannie Smith.

There will be a memorial service held at 2pm on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Old Country Baptist Church, 627 Faith Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146.
