Gardner “Chip” Worthington Taylor, 70, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Peak Resources in Charlotte.

He was born March 16, 1955 in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY to the late Walter Taylor and Elvira Worthington. Over the years, he lived in Oyster Bay, NY; Waterville, ME; Charlotte, NC; and for many of his later years, Asheville, NC.  He loved classic rock and roll music and was an avid musician, playing drums, guitars, and keyboards, and he enjoyed spending many hours recording and mixing tracks in his apartment/studio.

Chip is survived by his brothers, Brad Taylor, Gordon Taylor and Ken Taylor, and a very close friend, Jon Blalock.
