Joyce Elizabeth Rhea, 60, of Kannapolis, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.
Joyce was a creative and thoughtful soul who found beauty in the world and expressed it through her art, her style, and the way she lived. She had a love for color, creativity, and self-expression, and those qualities made her truly unique.
She cared deeply about the people in her life and treasured meaningful connections. In later years, Joyce found special happiness in being a grandmother, and she moved to North Carolina to be closer to her grandchildren, a role she was proud to hold.
Joyce is survived by her daughter and grandchildren.
Those who knew Joyce will remember her creativity, her fierce spirit, and her caring nature. Her presence will be missed, and her memory will remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
