Cecil Shepherd says
You have embodied fatherhood! Anyone can have children, that really doesn’t make you a dad,a father, or a man! Not everyone is built to raise children, but you were able to do it Six times. That’s not an easy task and we all are different versions of you, I have that Bob/Red era, the Malibu Classic, the Jackson 5 and Mr. Bob. You have been that Dude ever since I was 5yrs old, I was molded by you, unconditionally. I became a Wilson even though I’m a Shepherd, I can’t think of a job that you had that I didn’t have too.
I will miss surprising you as you were always our first and last stop whenever we came down to Charlotte. We are Dolpfan’s (🐬) from the 70’s, you were a Laker first, whn you became a serious Knick, Idk, but it was before me. I’ll miss those conversations as well, trade talks, etc. You were with me for 55yrs, I will always cherish the Memories, I am honored to be Called your Son! I Love you Daddy! Tell the rest of The Family, we miss them and love them too!!! Mrs. Gloria thank you for being the beautiful person that you are, and know that you have another Son, and if you need me, I’m always a phone call away, as we all are in this together.
Your Son,
Cecil
