Ralph Junior Pittman, 81, of Kannapolis, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

He was born December 12, 1944 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina to the late William Minor Pittman and Rose Bell Wilson Pittman. He was loved and cherished his family. Ralph enjoyed tinkering in his out building making beautiful furniture and passing on his expertise in construction. He was a carpenter by trade. He loved to go fishing and playing music with family and friends back in the day. He dearly loved his family and all his grandbabies.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant son, Jeffrey D. Pittman, his siblings Bobby Pittman, Gerald Pittman and Ginnie P. Huneycutt, first wife and Mother to his sons, Vivian Walker Pittman, and his second wife, Judy Goodnight Pittman.

He is survived by three Sons, Dean Pittman (Lori) of Kannapolis, Dale Pittman (Lynne) of Henrico, VA and Don Pittman (Amber) of China Grove. Grandchildren, Justin, Tiffani, Seth, Alyssa, Zackary and Noah. Great- Grandchildren Caleb and Emma, and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
