Linda Sue Sharpe Rogers, 75, of Linwood, NC, entered the arms of her loving Savior on April 22, 2026.

Born to the late Mertice and Bennie Sharpe on March 31, 1951, Linda graduated from West Davidson High School in 1969. Throughout her life and in every role she held —from social worker and patient advocate to Assistant Minister for Congregational Care & Missions at Tyro Methodist Church — she served faithfully, exemplifying the hands and feet of Christ.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Rogers, daughter-in-law, April Rogers, and infant sister.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Lynn Rogers, Wesley Rogers, Benji and Candis Rogers, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Linda is also survived by her brother, Larry Sharpe, and sister, Bonnie Strickland and her husband, Phil. She held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren, her friends, and her church community.

Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared once finalized.
