Lyndia lived a full and vibrant life marked by generosity, friendship, and a deep love for family and community.

Lyndia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Harlan  Heward. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Damon Trim and his wife Brenda; and by her treasured grandchildren, Madison Trim, Keegan Trim, and Izabella Trim.  Her sister, Sharon Horton (Ron) and nephews, Greg Jones(Kristie ); Adam Horton, and niece Roni Jean Horton.

A devoted member of her community, Lyndia was active with the Salisbury Symphony Guild and volunteered with the Rowan Museum. She had a gift for entertaining, loved bringing people together, and embraced life with warmth, elegance, and joy.

Lyndia will be remembered for her gracious spirit, her love of family and friends, and her ability to make every gathering special. Her presence brought light and laughter to those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial service will be held in Reno, NV, at a later date.
