William A. Goga, 84, of Rockwell, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, William was the oldest of six children. Throughout his life, he was an entrepreneur with a remarkable work ethic, owning and operating a variety of businesses. His ventures included a rental store, food trucks that traveled fairs throughout the eastern United States, a parking lot sweeping business, a stump grinding service, and flea market businesses specializing in key making, personalized photo gifts, jewelry, and other custom products. He enjoyed staying busy, meeting
people, and creating opportunities through his many business endeavors.
William also had a lifelong passion for World War II history and military aircraft, spending countless hours learning about the people, events, and aviation that shaped history.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Vicki Goga; his daughter, Deborah Johnson; his son-in-law, John Patterson; and his son-in-law, Craig Johnson.
William is survived by his son, Mark Goga and wife, Beth; his son, William E. Goga and wife, Kathleen; and his daughter, Kathleen Patterson, along with his grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory.
In accordance with William’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this difficult time and asks that he be remembered for his entrepreneurial spirit, his love of history, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
