Connie Gail Smith Miller, 76, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at her home.

She was born March 17, 1950 in Madison, WV to the late Hasel and Virginia Smith. In her spare time, she loved to travel and spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Nancy, Janie and Sam.

Connie is survived by her husband, Kermit Miller; children, Tammy Kiker (Jeff), Theresa Parham (Arvie), Tina Elkins (Mickie), Terry Hager (Sue) and Ursula Huffman; 14 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; many adopted children and grandchildren; siblings, Linda and Diane; and her beloved dogs, Hercules and Sofia.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Second Baptist Church, 807 Sweetgum Street Kannapolis, NC 28083 from 12-1pm, with a Celebration of Life following, beginning at 1pm.
