It is with sad hearts we announce the death of Paul Phillip Parton, known to most as just “Phil.” Phil was 75 yrs of age; he would have been 76 in December.

Phil was born in Concord, NC, on December 21st,1950 to Paul Demet Parton and Mary Elizabeth Holloway Parton, both preceeding him in death. He had been in declining health for several months and passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 12, 2026 at Liberty Commons Nursing Center in Salisbury,  NC.

Phil was a part of  many shared moments and relationships throughout his life. He brought much joy to those around him everywhere he went. His positive Influence and the bonds he created will forever stay with those who knew him, and with some who didn’t know him, as he would sometimes invite  the Homeless into his home to share a meal. Phil played guitar and several other instruments all his adult life. He gave his heart totally to Jesus in the late 80’s and was later called to the Ministey He  attended Oral Roberts University, and received his degree.
