Calvin Ray Thomas Jr., born March 11, 1986, was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend who touched many lives with his kind heart and generous spirit.
Calvin had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved the beach, riding his motorcycle, watching Tar Heel basketball, golfing, hunting with his dad, singing country songs at karaoke, and spending time with his beloved dog, Ammo. He was known for his laughter, his adventurous spirit, and the genuine kindness he showed to those around him.
Calvin is survived by his son, Calvin Ray Thomas III; his father, Calvin Ray Thomas Sr.; his mother, Cynthia Blackwell Thomas; his sister, Jennifer Thomas Smith; his niece, Autumn Jade Smith, and his aunt, Brenda Williams. He was also deeply loved by his girlfriend, Stephanie, and her sons, Julian and Henry.
Calvin was loved by many and will be deeply missed. His laughter, kindness, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest peacefully, Calvin. You will be loved and missed always.

My dear cousin, Cindy! This is so unbelievable. My Heartfelt sympathy go out to you and Ray as the parents to Calvin. To your daughter, Jennifer, who Calvin and Jennifer were like best friends not just brother and sister. And all the family and who loved Calvin so much.
May God give you peace and comfort wrapping you in his arms and going through this grieving time.
Just know that he was so loved and that’s a comfort in itself to know that people care.
My heartfelt prayers are there with you and know that I am just one phone call away always.
