James Douglas Brackett Jr., 67, of Lexington, passed away March 7, 2023.  He was born September 4, 1955 in Mooresville, NC to the late James Brackett Sr. and Dorothy Graham Brackett.

James worked as a cabinet installer and in his spare time enjoyed working on cars and browsing his car magazines. Also, he loved gardening and being able to cook for his friends and family.

James is survived by his husband, David Tuttle; and his sister, Lynne Gardner of Woodworth, LA.

There is no service scheduled at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
