Janet Marie Davis Leonard passed away on July 4, 2026, in Harrisburg, NC, at the age of 90.

Janet was born on October 1, 1935, in Sheffield VT to Bernice and Floyd Davis. The oldest of six children,
she remained close with her siblings Jerry, Judith, Jeff, Jane and Jason.

She met Robert Banks Leonard, the love of her life in 1952 where they both worked for the S.S. Kresge
Department Store in New Haven, CT. They married in 1955 and raised their family in Milford, CT, later
residing in NC. They were married for 62 years.

Janet had a powerful and infectious laugh and found joy in her family and faith. She was a loving mother
to seven children and survived by Valerie Dooley (Joe), Jon Leonard (Mary), Mark Leonard (Gill), David
Leonard (Christine), Dan Leonard (Gayla).

From her seven children came thirteen grandchildren; Jon Robert Leonard (Courtney), Ryan Curtis, Kim
Hansard (Josh), Meghan Davidson-Palmer (Ralph), Sarah Leonard, Timothy Curtis (Abir), Justin Leonard (Bobbi), Erin Dooley, Dylan Leonard (Molly), Taylor Saller (Ryan), Davis Leonard, Carly Bruncati (Andrew) and Chase Leonard. Ten great grandchildren Veronica, Lily, Violet, Penny, Lucan, Findlay, Walker, Reid, Rory and Baby Saller.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband Robert, daughter Karin Curtis, son Robert B Leonard Jr,
sisters Judith Gagne and Jane Solomine.

She was a devout servant of Jehovah who believed in a living soul and remained faithful and hopeful for
resurrection in Paradise.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
