Aaron Wayne Turner, 65, of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday December 17, 2014 at the Hospice Facility at the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury. Aaron was born on September 10, 1949 in Springfield, Missouri to Vivian Charleen Weter and the late Calbert Quinton Turner.

Aaron graduated from Belton Senior High School in Belton, Missouri. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and worked in maintenance most of his life. He was a member of Agape Faith Church in Clemmons, NC.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons; four brothers, Dennis Turner, David Turner, Alan Turner, and Adrian Turner; two sisters, Denise Konnerup and Melissa Turner; and four grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Monday December 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Military Honors will be provided by the Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the Donor’s choice.
