Amber Marie Carpenter-Castanon 43, of Thomasville passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. Amber was born on November 23, 1971 in Galveston, Texas, a daughter of Marilynn Rhea Parker Drumm and the late Billy Wayne Carpenter.

Amber was a strong free spirit who had the gift of creativity. She was very caring, and loved animals.

In addition to her father, Amber is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Castanon.

In addition to her mother, Amber is survived by her brothers and sisters, Robert Field and wife Keri of Warwick, NY, Lisa Field Dixit and husband Al of Fort Lee, NJ, Brenda Arrietta and husband Frank of Belleville, NJ, Frances Field of Thomasville, Joann Hughes of Lexington, and Kristen Hulin. Amber is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
