Anthony Lloyd Amos, 40, of Granite Quarry, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 13, 1971, in Guilford County, to Herman Ray Amos and Patsy Ann Black Amos and was educated in the Rowan County schools. He was an accomplished welder in the building construction trades and was of the Baptist faith.
He was predeceased by his father.
He is survived by his mother of Granite Quarry; his brother, Alan Ray Amos of Salisbury and his sister, Mrs. Alison Rene’ Amos Burnsed of Salisbury.
Service: A memorial service will held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2515 East Innes Street, Salisbury, officiated by Pastor Bill Adams.
Visitation: A family visitation and reception will be held in the church social hall, following the service.
