Betty Lavon Lane Hunter, 79, of Charlotte, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.

She was born December 8, 1946 in Belmont, NC to the late Andrew Lane and Stella Hart Lane. Betty graduated from Belmont High School and was a beautician for over 40 years in the Charlotte area. Her hobbies and interests consist of baking and church activities.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her Husband Andy Douglas Hunter

Mrs. Hunter is survived by her loving family; three sons, Calvin Hunter of Gastonia, Ryan Hunter Richburg, SC and Bryan Ashley of Charlotte; (other family members) 6 Grand-Children and 4 Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held October 16, 2026
