Carolyn Joyce Haney, 64, of Thomasville, NC passed away on July 4, 2013 at Catawba Valley Hospice House. Mrs. Haney was born on October 3, 1948 in Thomasville, NC to the late John Quincy Adams and Edna Viola Myers.

Mrs. Haney attended Central Wesleyan Church in Thomasville, NC and enjoyed being outdoors in her yard. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers; Tony Adams and Howard Adams.

Carolyn Haney is survived by her husband of 39 years, Garland Odell Haney; two daughters, Jamie Little and husband Jonathan of Conover, NC, and Courtney Wyke and husband Todd of Lenoir, NC; one sister, Helen Adams of Thomasville, NC; and grandchildren, Chase, Victoria, Ragan, Hayden, Chandler.

There will be a graveside service at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 12:00 PM.
