Deborah Sue Almond “Debbie” Polk, 58 of Spencer passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2015 at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House. Debbie was born on October 9, 1956 in Stanly County, daughter of Dorothy DeBerry Almond and the late Erby Almond.

Debbie was educated in the Stanly County School System. She enjoyed playing bingo and scratch offs.

In addition to her father, Debbie is preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Almond.

Debbie is survived by her husband of over 42 years, Curtis Lee Polk. Sons, Steven Polk and Brandon Polk both of Spencer. Brother, Danny Almond and sister, Glenda Watson both of Albemarle.
